The State of Qatar welcomed the United States rescinding of Sudan's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism.

The State of Qatar participated on Saturday in the final signing ceremony of the peace agreement between the transitional government of the Republic of Sudan and the Sudanese armed movements, which was held in the capital of South Sudan, Juba.
