Qatar state provided humanitarian aids included food stuffs to the flood affected people in the Major 6 district in the locality of Om Al-Qura , Gezira state, in presence of   HE Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Kubeisi , the ambassador of Qatar state to Sudan. 

     HE Al-Kubeisi stated that these aids offered by support of Qatar fund for development and carried out by Qatar charitable society, include 1000 sacks of food to cover 6000 persons.

    HH Al-Kubeisi added that the aids came in continuation to the humanistic efforts that Qatar used to do in Sudan, pointing to the support of Qatar to the flood affected people last year after launch of Salma Ya Sydan Campaign which came under personal auspices of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, prince of Qatar state (May Allah protect him) which lauded widely in the both countries.

  HE Al-Kubeisi confirmed that the relations between the two countries are prosperous and will remain so, owing to the keenness of the leaders of the two countries in strengthening and developing them in all fields.  

  On his part HE Abdullah Al-Kaneen , governor of Gezira state confirmed that the convoy of Qatari aids embodied the strength of historical relations between Qatar and Sudan and continuous support from Qatar to Sudan ,declaring  adoption of cooperation between Gezira state and Qatar in investment field for the development of the state for benefit to the both  countries , expressing his pleasure and lauded the visit and efforts of HE the ambassador of Qatar to the locality.

  The commissioner of humanitarian aid in Gezira state expressed thanks and appreciation to Qatar state in providing humanitarian aids to Gezira, asking for communication between the two countries in supporting the field of development and investment.

  Dr.Safia Abdulrahim, director general of the ministry of social welfare in Gezira state , stated that Qatar remained provides support and humanitarian aids to the flood affected people in Gezira state pointing to the  strong relations between the two countries , and unveiled common programs in the field of development
