HE prof .Siddig Tawor , member of the  transitional sovereignty council praised the role of Qatar state in supporting the equine sector in Sudan. 

  This came in his address to the festival of equine race at Abu Delaig , Sharg Al-Nil Locality , Khartoum state , in presence of HE Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar state  to Sudan beside  numbers of ministers and  foreign ambassadors.

   Prof Tawor called for importance of the sport  in serving the sublime humanistic  goals above racist , tribal  fanaticism , hatred and sedition,  pointing out the role that the sport plays in popular diplomacy and employing  energy of the youth as good as possible.

     On his part HE Hafiz Ibrahim, minister of animal resources appreciated support and patronage of Qatar state to the Abu Delaig festival , confirming that his ministry gives great concern to the equine sector and exerted efforts to provide veterinary services to this sector to set the suitable environment for prosperity   of this sector.

    Dr. Yosuif Adam Al-Dai , minister of  sport confirmed commitment of the ministry in providing all the means that made Sudan pioneer in this sport.

    Dr.Khalid Al-Siddig Numan chairman of Sudanese union for equine addressed the festival, appreciating the support that Qatar provided for the union and its patronage of the festival through the organizing committee of equine race in Qatar state.

   HE Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar state to Sudan addressed the festival, praising the Abu Delaig festival  for equine race , reaffirming the support of  Qatar state for the equine sport in Sudan as a part and parcel of the Islamic and Arabic heritage.

  At the end of the festival HE Al-Kubeisi and winners of the race were honored.
