The Sudanese minister of infrastructure and transportation , representative of the government of Sudan  honored the  occasion in addition to a lot of foreign ambassadors to Sudan and military attaches beside dignitaries , political leaders , symbolic  figures of culture and media and clerks of Islamic and Christianity religions.

      The representative of the government of Sudan addressed the festival on behalf of lieutenant general Abd Al-Fatah Al-Burhan , chair person of sovereignty council and Dr.Abdalla Hamdouk , the prime minister ,delivering their congratulations to his highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad , Emir of Qatar state on this occasion.

        The representative of the Sudanese government stated : We today celebrate with old legacy , rich history and vital role Qatar played in the regional and international milieus , and we also celebrate with values of fraternity , wisdom and friendship which characterize Qatar state.

       The representative of Sudanese government praised highly the relation  between the two countries and the level it has reached in many  fields , appreciating the role of Qatar in Darfur peace and the December glorious revolution , eyeing to Qatar’s  efforts in delisting Sudan from terrorism sponsor states , wishing the bilateral relations to go forward to achieve the interests of the peoples  of both countries .

      His excellency Abd al-Rahman bin Ali al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar to Sudan addressed the festival displaying journey of Qatar in renaissance and the bilateral relations between the two countries , adding : We celebrate this year as Sudan jumps to achieve  aspirations of its people who led great revolution which has surprised the world with its pacific  nature and shown awareness of Sudanese people, introducing admirable model of victory of the national will , wishing the transitional government of Sudan success and realization of the Sudanese people aspirations in justice, peace and equality.

        The ambassador confirmed the position of Qatar to support unity and stability of Sudan,  eyeing  hopefully to  success of the ongoing peace negotiations.

      The ambassador confirmed that the bilateral relations between the two countries have  been and still strong and deeply rooted , adding that the Sudanese society in Qatar is a clear evidence , it participates with Qatari people  in the renaissance of our state .

      The ambassador added : The most important fruit of our bilateral relations is Doha peace agreement which has crowned the attention of Qatar to stability of Sudan , where as Qatar bore on its shoulder carrying out many  rehabilitation projects and development which reflected positively on security and stability in Darfur region.
