On 20th of June 2020 Khartoum international airport received medical supplies for medical cadres offered from Qatar charitable society and Sudanese professional associations in Qatar state.
Mr.Talal al-Anzi , Qatari charge de affair’s in Sudan and Dr. Akram Ali al-Tom , Sudanese minister of health received the shipment beside officials from high committee for health emergency of corona protection and Hussein Karmash director of Qarari charitable society bureau in Sudan.
The shipment includes seven tons of tools for medical cadres protection with cost of 2 million Qatari rial.
Minister of health thanked people , organizations and government of Qatar for their support to Sudan , pointed out that this support is not the first cooperation between the two countries , adding the relation between them is a historic , and Qatar state always remains offers technical and financial support to Sudan.
Humanitarian aid commissioner Abbas Fadl Allah stated that Qatar always stands with Sudan to face the disasters mentioning the Qatari air lift during flood disaster.
