Qatar Carries out the Biggest Relief Intervention in Kassala State

   HE/Abdulrahman bin Ali al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar state to Sudan , launched in the localities of Aroma and north  Delta , in Kassala state , convoys of food and sheltering assistances , provided from Qatar fund for development in cooperation with  Qatari standing committee for relief and salvation works.

  HE/al-Kubeisi expressed that the convoys of Qatari support contains 82 tons of food stuffs and 300 tents , will be distributed among the flood affected people through the technical teams of Qatari fertile crescent and Qatari charitable society , confirming that Qatari assistances come upon direction of HH / Tamim bin Hamad , prince of Qatar ( May Allah protect him), who carried out great humanitarian works worldwide , pointing out that Qatari support will continue to Sudan in various fields.

   The ruler of Kassala state Mr. Khojali Hamad stated that the charitable works of Qatar in Sudan stand as a  witness of Qatar role in Sudan , it has upper hand in response to Sudan call  in any disaster.

   Mr. .Hassam Ouda , head of Qatar charitable society office in Sudan ,confirmed that they will continue in providing humanitarian assistance to Sudan that will help the flood affected families , as the technical teams of the society will expand the area of humanitarian intervention in Sudan to include other villages and areas ,in number of the affected states.

   In the same context Mr. Ala al-Din al-Badri , head of Qatari red crescent office in Sudan , stated that the humanitarian duty dictated intervention in Sudan by providing food stuffs  and sheltering assistances , hoping shifting to the permanent developmental projects soon.

  The native leaders and flood affected families in Kassala state lauded the efforts of Qatar prince and government for their help to Sudan in various fields. Mohammed al-Amin Tirik , chairperson of the higher council of Beja tribes ,said in the launch of the convoys that Qatar used to these humanitarian and noble stances to Sudan.
