HE/Abdulrahman bin Ali al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar to the republic of Sudan , participated in the meeting chaired by Let .general Shams al-Din Kabbashi ,member of transitional sovereignty council in Sudan, in the republican palace , in presence of ambassadors of gulf cooperation council , Egypt and kingdom of Jordan , beside acting minister of cabinet affairs Mr. Osman Hussein , Mr.Ali al-Sadig , acting minister of foreign affairs , Mr. Ahmed Adam Bakhit , minister of social welfare and permanent undersecretary of ministry of finance.

     The meeting discussed the role of Arab countries in warding off the effects of floods that hit many areas in Sudan.

  The member of sovereignty council appreciated the Arab countries that provided assistances to Sudan , among them Qatar state.

    The meeting urged Arab countries to move forward in supporting Sudan in this period, in facing the effects left by floods.
