Arrival Of Qatari Planes Carrying Aid To Flood Affected People in Sudan

   Two Qatari planes carrying shipments of urgent relief assistances arrived Khartoum airport  , under direct direction of Qatar prince HH/Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani , to support the efforts of Sudanese authorities to tackle the floods that hit wide areas of some states in Sudan.  

  Qatar fund for development in cooperation with Qatari  Amiri air forces carried this assistance through the standing committee for relief and salvation and humanitarian aid  works  in the disaster affected areas in  brotherly countries.  

  The planes received by HE/Abdulrahman bin Ali al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar state to Sudan and Mr. Ahmed Adam Bakhit , Sudanese minister of social welfare and commissioner of humanitarian aid in Sudan.

     HE/ Abdulrahman al-Kubeisi explained that the assistances come upon direct direction of Qatar prince to relieve the floods in Sudan , adding that the two planes contained 68 tons of food stuffs and 700 tents beside  sheltering   materials.

    The Sudanese minister of social welfare lauded the Qatari support for Sudan to face the flood effects , pointing out to Qatari humanitarian efforts to their Sudanese brothers.

   In a statement Qatar fund for development explained that this assistance provided from the fund in cooperation with Qatar charitable society and coordination of Qatar embassy in Khartoum to support the Sudanese people in an urgent relief campaign to face the floods , adding that this comes as a commitment of Qatar state to stand with  Sudanese people to provide the urgent needs and restructure after this disaster.
