HE/ Abdulrahman bin Ali al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar to Sudan, launched at the residence of the river Nile state government , the convoy of Qatari assistances , carried out by Qatar charitable society to help the flood affected families in the state , among  efforts of urgent response to these families.

    The ambassador revealed the directions of the prince of Qatar to steer planes with food stuffs  and sheltering  and health  materials to help the flood affected people , will arrive Sudan in coming days.  

    Ambassador al-Kubeisi said in Mekaylab area ;providing assistances to brothers in Sudan comes as commitment with humanitarian values and love between Qatari and Sudanese peoples , pointing out that Qatar remained and will remain existent in tackling all crisis and disasters in the world upon direction of the Qatari leadership under HH / Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad , prince of Qatar ( May Allah protect him).

   Mr .Hassan Oda ,  director of Qatar charitable society bureau in Sudan stated that ; teams of the society work now in preparing multi sector  relief intervention includes rehabilitation the flood affected areas, providing sheltering needs , health , water , food   and education, unveiling that the technical team of the society embarked with stakeholders in surveying and defining the technical needs and studying the priorities to set the stage to carrying out multi sector projects to help the affected families, adding that the convoy to Mekaylab contained 1000 food baskets for 6000 beneficiaries to fill food gap for month.

   Many  people and official entities in Mekaylab area expressed thanking and appreciation to Qatari assistances  , adding that Doha always remained preceding in providing aid in all places.
