HE/Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar to Sudan, launched on June 4 , 2022 , camp of  Qatari red crescent for eyes cure and blind protection , in Al-Fath area in Omdurman locality , Khartoum state.  

    In his speech on  this occasion,  ambassador Al-Kubeisi stated that , this project came as an extension of the   efforts of Qatari red crescent , in the context  of its charitable and humanitarian interventions  in the fields of development in Sudan , whereas the convoy targets medical check for 8000,  and eye surgical operations for 800,  in addition to distribution of glasses and drugs for patients in Khartoum and northern states in cooperation with Hamad medical foundation and first medical care foundation in Qatar and eyesight foundation in Sudan.    

   HE/Al-Kubeisi pointed out to the humanitarian , charitable  and developmental projects that Qatar state carried out in various states in Sudan through private and public sectors , among them the projects of Qatari red crescent nationwide in developmental and  humanitarian fields, beside constructing model villages within Qatari initiative for Darfur development, whereas these efforts integrate with the official Qatari efforts  for strengthening the relations between the two brotherly countries  , and fit with the humanitarian roles that Qatar takes in  its consideration for supporting the progress regionally and globally, confirming depth of the brotherly ties between Sudan and Qatar in all fields.
