Qatar embassy in Khartoum celebrated on 8th of February 2022 the sport day of Qatar state in residence of the embassy , with participation of HE /Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar state to the republic of Sudan , beside foreign diplomats in Khartoum , staff of the embassy, members of Qatar military attaché , in addition to representatives of Qatari corporations, companies and organizations in Sudan and Sudanese media representatives . The event contained various sport activities.
HE / Al-Kubeisi spoke at the event about the sense of the celebration of Qatar state on this occasion as an expression of importance of sport to individuals , family and society , pointing out the philosophy of the sport for all and importance of exercising it.
The ambassador added: This event comes whereas peoples draw their attention to Qatar in 2022 where the FIFA world cup will be hosted in Qatar for the first time in the middle east and Arab world , explaining the readiness of Qatar for this international occasion , which represents pride not only for Qatar state but for Arab and Islamic worlds, mentioning that Arab cup which organized in Qatar recently came as a good experience in preparations for the international mondial.
