HE Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar state to Khartoum met HE Walker Berths , head of united nations integrated transition assistance mission in Sudan( UNITAMIS).

    HE Berths briefed the ambassador on his mission and it's role in assisting the transitional government in Sudan and peace building, in addition to support the Sudanese economy , pointing out that the mission works in coordination with the UN bodies in providing technical support to Sudan.

    On his part HE Al-Kubeisi touched the efforts that Qatar state has been exerting to achieve peace, stability and development in Sudan, and it's role in peace in Darfur by hosting the negotiations that resulted in Al-Doha peace deal, in addition to projects that Qatar carried out and still carrying out in Darfur.
