On January 31st 2021 , the Emir of the state of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Althani( May Allah protect him) , received at the Emiri Diwan , HE lieutenant general Mohammed Hamdan Himeidti , deputy president of the transitional sovereignty council in brotherly state of Sudan and his accompanying delegation on occasion of his visit to Qatar.
At the beginning of the meeting , general Himeidti informed HE the Emir on the last developments in Sudan and expressed the highest consideration for Qatar for supporting Sudan in all scopes specifically its efforts for peace in Darfur.
The two parts reviewed during the meeting the brotherly relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them, in addition to updates in the regional and international arenas.
