On 10th of September 2020 the first plane of Qatari humanitarian aid arrived Khartoum airport in fulfilment of the directives of H.H Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Althani , Emir of Qatar state to support floods-hit people in Sudan.
The plane was received by Ms. Lina al-Sheikh minister of labor and social welfare , head of governmental committee of receiving foreign aids and Mr. Tilal Farhan al-Anzi ,Qatari Charge d’affaires in Sudan beside members of Qatar Embassy in Khartoum.
