The state of Qatar welcomed the peace agreement initiated by the transitional government in Sudan and revolutionary front in addition to a number of armed movements in Juba, South Sudan.

   In a statement the ministry of foreign affairs of Qatar affirmed the appreciation of Qatar for the state of south Sudan’s sponsorship of these  peace talks.  

      Qatar state expressed its hope that the rest of factions would join the peace process in order to achieve the comprehensive stability in Sudan.

   The ministry of foreign affairs expressed Qatar’s aspiration for the agreement to fulfill the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people and their just demands for peace, justice and freedom , and stressed the firm position of the state of Qatar in supporting the unity and sovereignty of Sudan.
