QATAR ASKS FOR LIFTING UP SACNTIONS FROM SUADN AND DELISTING SUDAN FROM TERRORISM SPONSOR STATES

      Qatar state asked for removing all restrictions that hamper Sudan from going forward and realizing welfare to the Sudanese people and delisting Sudan from terrorism sponsor states in addition to lifting up economical sanctions from Sudan.

      Qatar welcomed efforts of Sudan to achieve just and fair peace that leads to stability and development nationwide.

    In his speech to the interactive dialogue about Sudan held in Geneva Mr. Abdallah al-Suwaidi , second secretary of the permanent delegation  of Qatar in Geneva stated this when he addressed the session about Sudan under chapter ten which concerned with capacity building and offering technical assistance among the agenda of the 44th round of human rights council that  held in Geneva.

    Mr al-Suwaidi  confirmed keenness  of Qatar to protect human rights in Sudan , welcoming holding of this interactive dialogue . He thanked the government of Sudan and office of high commissioner of human rights for information he offered for opening the country office of human rights in Sudan.

       Al-Suwaidi praised cooperation shown by the  government of Sudan with the high commissioner for human rights which reflects the strong will of Sudan for cooperation with the united nations mechanisms and fulfillment of its obligations for protection of human rights , hoping this sincere desire will be met with strong determination from the human rights council and commissioner to provide technical  assistance to build and strengthen human rights capabilities in Sudan in consultation and cooperation with the Sudanese government according to its priorities and key needs in this regard.
