On 11th of February 2020 , the embassy of Qatar in Khartoum organized the sport day , with participation of his excellency Abd al-Rahman bin Ali al-Kubeisi , ambassador of Qatar to Sudan , diplomats and local staff of the embassy and military attaché , in addition to Qatari organizations in Sudan.
In his speech to the media , his excellency ambassador al-Kubleisi expressed the significance of this celebration and importance of sport to the family and society , pointing out the philosophy of sport day which based on the domestication of the sport for all and importance of its exercise , mentioning the on going arrangements to host world cup in Qatar 2022.
